Alcohol Harm Reduction

'Alcohol Related Harm' or 'Alcohol Misuse' are terms used to describe alcohol use and behaviours outside the parameters of the law, or health guidelines on responsible and moderate alcohol consumption. They encompass health issues such as excessive regular heavy drinking or binge drinking, the antisocial or violent behaviour that can be associated with excessive drinking, drinking while pregnant or drinking and driving.

In this section Alcohol Harm Reduction programmes are listed that do not fit into other specific areas of this website, or which embrace many different areas in one paper or strategy.
